Emerald Coast Education Institute (ECEI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making education, career resources, and opportunities more accessible to the communities we serve.
We believe people should not miss opportunities simply because they were never given the information, guidance, or resources they needed. Through practical education, community partnerships, and programs designed to meet real-world needs, ECEI works to bridge that gap and help people confidently take their next step.

Our Programs
ECEI develops programs designed to turn information into opportunity. From preparing students for life beyond the classroom to making complex information easier to understand, our programs provide practical knowledge, resources, and support people can actually use.
Beyond the Diploma
Helping high school students and young adults prepare for college, careers, and life after graduation through college and scholarship applications, financial aid assistance, career exploration, resume and interview preparation, mentorship, job shadowing, and other practical life and professional skills.
The Plain English Project — Coming Summer 2027
Practical knowledge for adults in underserved and marginalized communities.
Making complicated information easier to understand through plain-language guides, workshops, and resources covering legal, financial, government, education, healthcare, housing and other everyday systems and processes — so people understand their options, know what steps to take, and can better advocate for themselves.
